After testing several large format cameras that I originally suspected would be the models for my work. I chose the Walker Titan XL. The camera oozes quality and robustness and is one of the few cameras that I found straight forward to use from beneath the focusing cloth without the constant fumbling associated with other models. I have now made several field trips with it and the performance, reliability and no nonsense approach to using this camera instills confidence were other more technically complex cameras introduce unneeded difficulty. After all. I see no logic in spending twice the amount of money to produce equal results. I didn't want fuss and fancy names; I just wanted a piece of high quality equipment to make high quality pictures, it was for this reason alone I bought a Walker Titan XL.
